Adam EasonSince starting out as a hypnotherapist in the late 1990s, I am still working as a full-time hypnotherapist and run a busy hypnotherapist training college. I was the first ever hypnotherapist to be on the expert panel for the online health clinics run by TalkHealth in collaboration with NHS Choices.

I have been an accredited and trained supervisor for other hypnotherapists and an accredited, senior member of the largest and most impressive professional hypnotherapy organisations in the UK (membership dating back to 1996) as well as having spent time as Director and complaints officer for one of those organisations.

Throughout the years I have worked with many hundreds of individuals in my private hypnotherapy consulting rooms.

I am quite different from a lot of my professional peers in the hypnotherapy world and admit my imperfections and embrace my foibles… I get over-excited, I stutter frequently, and I say rude words from time to time…

“Adam Eason is a great teacher and advocate of personal development, and his enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject oozes from his presentations. Having seen loads of speakers in the past, I must say Adam came across in a quite different and refreshing way.

Great speaker, great presentation … highly recommended.”

Tom was at his lowest ebb in 1995 when he was admitted into rehab to overcome alcohol and drug addiction which he had suffered with for over twenty years. It was then that Tom made the decision to work in the addiction field to help others who suffer and struggle with addiction. He had no real goals or purpose up until then but Tom found his vocation through overcoming his own addiction. Now he helps others with their addictions which in turn helps Tom with his.

Although Tom worked in various addiction units in varying roles from 1999, Tom gained most of his client addiction experience when he worked in local drug and alcohol rehabs for over five years in Bournemouth and Southampton. During that time he worked his way towards gaining the role of ‘Addiction Counselling Team Leader’.

These days Tom continues to specialise in addiction and manages his private therapy practice from his home in Southbourne on the south coast of England where he practices Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP, Counselling, EFT and Eye Movement Therapy. Tom has client referrals from some of the top addiction organisations in the country.

When he is not working with clients Tom writes regular blogs and articles for his website, he also writes self-improvement articles for various website article directories.

Tom is in the process of writing his first book, a self-help book that covers a new model of addiction which he created from his own past personal experiences with addiction and from working with addiction clients.

Tom enjoys recording his ‘Overcoming Addiction Series’ mp3 audio hypnosis programmes in his studio at home. These are innovative high quality digital recordings and cover many different addiction issues and problems.

Recently, Tom has become a trainer. He teaches a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Self Hypnosis Class. He also trains therapists in the very effective ‘Eye Movement Integration’ (EMI) therapy for PTSD and other conditions; this is also a practitioner qualification.

For relaxation Tom plays guitar and takes his dog for long walks along the Southbourne cliff tops and on the beach.
